Orestes at Delphi Picture

I drew this while reading the Orestia in English class. It's the scene where Orestes (center, bottom) begs for Apollo's advice from the Oracle at Delphi (center, top); Apollo (left) has put the Furies (ugly grub-things scattered about) to sleep so Orestes can have 5 minutes peace to pray to him, and Hermes (right) waits by to deliver Apollo's message to Zeus. Style is somewhat modeled after the paintings found on ancient Greek vases and urns.

Interestingly enough, I went to Delphi just a few weeks ago. After 3000-odd years of weathering, the Oracle's chamber doesn't look much like that anymore. I'm not sure it ever did.
