Some fun Greeks worth knowing Picture

I did a crappy 2-second job with this because I don't have alot of time right now. I'll do a better one when I get back from school.

Here's the synopsis of my favorite mortals in greek mythology. These three definitely get the "you poor bastard" award in my book.

Narcissus: Fell in love with his own image and died as a result of not being able to leave the beauty of his own reflection.

Hyacinth: Played extreme frisbee catch with Apollo and died as a result of a nasty crack to the head by a heavily-thrown frisbee.

Tantalus: Wanted to test "How wise and all-knowing" the Gods were by serving up his own son as a meal to them. The Gods saw through the ruse, and replied, "You stupid dip-shit." And threw him into a special pond in the underworld where he would be forever hungry and thirsty, food and drink being just out of his reach.
