Cernunnos's wrath. Picture
In Celtic mythology, Cernunnos is God of the male animal deified cuckold. His particular trait are the horns of deer. It is related to fertility and regeneration and is certainly chthonic divinity and master of the abundance of wildlife. Its nature is essentially earth. He is larger, has ears and horns of a deer and has a torque, Gallic sort of collar, neck and hand. It is often accompanied by a ram-headed snake or just with horns, this symbiosis symbolizes fertility and rebirth (in the Gaelic tradition and renewal virility), linked to the underworld.
