Achilles and Hector Picture

"At once, Hector drew his sword and came rushing towards Achilles. Achilles jumped from his chariot & sprang towards him, with his spear outstretched. 'Die as Patroclus died, vile Trojan!' Achilles snarled. His spearhead went through Hector's neck. With a dreadful choking sound, Hector fell to the ground, dead.

"This is my 11"x 14" graphite interpretation of a painting by Rob McCaig for a book called 'Myths & Legends'.

I grew up with this book, so the stories & art influenced me very much. I think I drew this around 2009. I like to think that I can keep the smudges off the page when I draw now. It's called not being lazy..
