Manticore Picture

My instructors absolutly hated this due to the choice of vibrant color palette. No matter, I up and sold it last December to someone who appriciated my effort.

The manticore in mythos was a leonine beast, with a scorpion's tail, hedgehog spikes and a man's face who was said to dine on the flesh of humans. My whole theme of the third year was recreating ancient myths to fit modern standards and my own personal imagination.

My manticore is still the flesh eater, with other various animals mixed with the original concept.
