Still dreaming 13 Picture

Fallen angels are a well known theme.. I don't know who started to romanticise them, but the first I know is John Milton with his poem "Paradise Lost".

Did they fall because of lust, those pure beings who for the first time came in touch with physical beauty? Did they want to teach an unsullied and beastlike man of those wonders only they knew back then? Did they rise up against a god forsaking his elder creation for something younger but able to create? Don't get me wrong, I'm not a believer in angels, but I do really like the concept.
