Siren Song Picture

"In Greek mythology, the Sirens were dangerous and beautiful creatures, portrayed as femmes fatales who lured nearby sailors, with their enchanting music and voices, to shipwreck on the rocky coast of their island."

Siren Song: That's one of the nicknames I gave to my Vectra B ("Canto da Sereia" in portuguese).
The car is wonderful, it looks amazing, the ride is very comfy... but its 2.2 16v Chevrolet engine, pictured in here, looooves gasoline: it drinks too much on the city. For my standards that is.

"Bah, sell this car and get something cheaper to run!" a part of me said to myself.
To which I replied "Let's give the Vectra a chance. What can we learn from this car?"

And looking on the bright side:
1- It'll force me to look for a job that pays me better. Which is something I want, for obvious reasons.
2- It'll force me to walk more often, instead of covering short distances by car. I always wanted to do this, but I was simpy too lazy. Now that I got a big engine, well... I've got a good reason to stop being lazy and be more active.

Another nickname I gave the Vectra is "Puta de Luxo" (EN: "Expensive Whore")
