Athena Glaukopis Picture

So once upon a time *Arbetta made a drawing of Nellie, from Dostoyevsky's The Humilliated and Insulted (here: [link]), kinda at my request, and she asked me to make a drawing of Athena in exchange. That wasn't even half a year ago. *cough*

Glaukopis (γλαυκώπις) means "bright-eyed" and is one of Athena's most common epithets in the Iliad. At first I intended her to be wearing Medusa's actual head (going with the aegis=breastplate interpretation), but eventually I decided that giving her a shield with the traditional gorgoneion design would work better.

Yes, she has braids.
