Perseus Constellation Picture

For the constellation project in my astronomy class I was instructed to illustrate two specific constellations and the mythology behind both of them.

This dashing gentleman is Perseus, who, armed with the winged sandals of Mercury (aka Hermes), Hades' helmet of invisibility, and Athena's shield, slayed the Gorgon Medusa and saved the fair maiden Andromeda from the sea monster Cetus.

The actual illustration of Perseus is done with a silver paint pen on acetate and lines up with the black board beneath it which support the prominent stars in the constellation.
