In the Leaper's embrace Picture

This picture is one of two intended for the Werewolves at Heart September contest titled "Enemies".
I sought something less well known, and I swore not to use vampires.

I did not submit this one, because I think I messed up the werewolf.

For this one I chose the Water Leaper, a less known being from mythology. I admit that I got it from wikipedia though:

The Water Leaper, also known as Llamhigyn Y Dwr, is a creature from Welsh folklore that lived in swamps and ponds.
It is described as a giant frog with a bat's wings instead of forelegs, no hind legs, and a long, lizard-like tail with a stinger at the end. It jumps across the water using its wings, hence its name.
It was blamed for problems ranging from snapping fishing lines to eating livestock or even fishermen.
